How do I download Gmod13 Add-Ons from Steam Workshop?

I've been seeing people say that they get their Gmod 13 add-ons from Steam workshop, but I don't see any "Download" button for the items. Can anyone help?

There should be a subscribe button on the items, which keeps them in your download queue until you unsubscribe. You don't have to download them, or restart the game as the Workshop implies; the item should be in it's respective place when you subscribe to it.
