Yi is pretty straight forward to play with.
For some reason, I've always abstained from playing him.

no, i think dota2 is superior to league but all my friends play league and my mmr in dota2 isn't as high as league, which are the only reasons i still play it

I feel the same with Trynda, you can't really do that bad with him. Even if you maybe fall behind early game and totally fail you still will rise and go strong later on.

I'd be surprised if your dota 2 mmr were higher than league.
That either means you suck at league or you're a god at dota.

Were you 1v2 bot? That's good stuff for a squishy adc. I could dominate 1v2 lane with something more tanky or with health sustain seeing you level faster, but adc solo is well done.

He's pretty good, although i've never really got how to play him properly.
I find that if you're in a lane with someone who has a decent poke, you can't really poke back too well, and end up losing the lane.
