yeah pretty much.

everything's so much easier, even last hitting. and there's no rts-styled delay when you move your champion. there's no micro that some heroes have in dota 2, even with champions like shaco and morde, your pets just follow you around and do nothing.

iirc if you have TF on your team and you last hit a tower you do get the 2 gold extra, though.
not that 2 gold does that much.

I thought towers did it too. But 50 gold from last hitting nexus is very important, as every bit of early game gold counts.

Free Rengar!? Grumble grumble, I bought him when he came out so I am mad that other people get to play him now. Because I have played this champion for 2 weeks longer than them, they must suck and this is worth quitting the game for a whole week.

Motivation: the only way to win the game is to push down towers. You cannot win without destroying at least 5.

Um. No. That would incite people to sit around not hitting it till it has 1 hit left, causing turrets to come down slower.

The motivation is winning the game, because uh, you gotta kill them. They also give 150 gold and good exp to your whole team.
