High base damage makes them still just as effective at dishing out damage without building much damage.

The other day me and my friend were playing bot lane I was Soraka and he was Quinn, we were matched against Rengar and maybe Vayne. Anyway, we had a rough start and at level 3 Rengar instakilled me from full health to 0. I died a couple of times in lane, but we ended up easily winning because it turns out that having a support is > > > having an extra bruiser instead.

1 or 2 towers is worth giving your team a lead

1. Rengar was heavily nerfed to the point he's almost as bad as Karma.
2. I didn't say bruisers win every lane. They win top lane where they can pretty much sit up there by themself.

Wasn't saying you were wrong. Just talking about bruisers. More of an, 'At least the enemy team won't consist of 5 bruisers (probably)' type of thing.

Maybe in low ELO. Because it's rare to see a day she passes 40% win rate in platinum. That is why they're remaking her after all.
