They probably dismissed it as teen mood swings.

My mom has had depression for a while, she would know the symptoms...

My parents made my depression worse by ignoring it, only adding to the snowball.

As mean as this may sound, forget your parents. They won't always be in your life. You need to do this life thing on your own. But that doesn't mean your alone. Get some friends or like-minded people to help you achieve whatever you think will make you happy or successful.

And like I said earlier, I'm always here. Feel free to send me a message or whatever and I won't judge you for it.

They knew, and they tried to deny it.

Parents are funny. They all want life to be perfect, especially for their children. However, if anything comes up that messes with their "perfect" life or whatever, they sometimes don't know how to deal with the issue.

Like I said, forget your parents. They won't get you out of your depression, only you will. And I know it might look like life isn't worth living, but find something to live for and do small things till you get there. You'll see that everything gets better.

You make a good point, but it is kinda smart to rely on your parents while they can still help you.

Doing things on your own is recommended but help is always an option, even if you have to force it out your parents.

Be strong.

Self Delete isn't the answer. You're a kid. If someone hates you irrationally, their opinion shouldn't matter to you. Move on and don't linger with things that dissapoint you.

I'm gonna stick around this topic, everything is stuff for me too at the moment. For completely different reasons, but still stuffty.

Well, its a good thing you are seeing a counselor, no one here would want you gone. If it helps any bit, we all love you here <333

Hope getting out of school helps, never dealt with depression myself so don't know what to tell you.

hearing that someone wants to take their own life makes me cry. sometimes I wonder why I read these topics. then I remember it's because I love all of you so much.

all of you. so much.

it'll get better. <3

It could just be puberty/adolesence. Anyway, think how Self Delete would affect your family and friends. Don't commit Self Delete. It's something that cannot be undone.
