Author Topic: anyone else like to play music when gaming?  (Read 1801 times)

I myself like to blast Monstercat and/or VitalElectronic when playing Dungeon Defenders, AVWW or on Pecon's Boss Battles. Anyone else do this?

If I was listening to something beforehand I don't turn it off unless the game requires a ton of focusing. End of story.

Almost always unless I'm playing STALKER, in any other game I'll turn down all in-game sound to the point where I can just barely hear only the most important things over my music.
I need good tunes to get in the swing of things, I've found that different songs affect my performance in different games, music is truly an amazing thing

Nope. I only play music when I code or map. Whenever I play a game I am intent on focusing on the game only.

yeah i cant play minecraft without music its just so boring

I some times play Daft Punk while I'm Captain Sparks in Super Monday Night combat.

His specialty is electric, so it fits.

I usually only listen to the game's music. I can easily say that MACABRE.IT and Lovdeath.it will suit your Age of Wonders experience more than Linkin Park and Ke$ha. But seeing this community and others as well, most people don't like themes, especially if they like FortressCraft. They would rather have a 19000 polygon smooth-looking high detailed gun being held by their about-1500 polygon flat-shaded player in an interior/terrain map that looks like it came right out of a N64 game.

I play some Hotel california when i am playing Fallout new vegas

I used to, but then i started to like hearing the game's sounds and music more than playing my own music over the game

When I play TF2 I tend to listen to a Classical Touhou playlist.

Everything else I listen to Dubstep/Trance/Techno/Chiptune.

I like to play calming music while shooting people in the faces.  Really releases stress.

I would like to, but Youtube stuffs up my game. D:
