Author Topic: Should I get Metro 2033?  (Read 1417 times)

I just bought this. First purchase off of the Steam app too :cookieMonster:

It looks really cool. I saw trailers and stuff about it am it looked like STALKER.
It's actually made by some of the STALKER developers who split off from GSC due to disagreements.

In fact there was some controversy when it was released due to people claiming the Metro 2033 devs stole some code from the XRay (STALKER) engine

do you play on pansy difficulty or something
No, I played it on Normal.

Yes, get it. Your kinda late because there a stuffload of trailer for Metro Last Light.

The game developers for Metro 2033 did a really god job putting the player in the post-apocalyptic environment.

They created a really believable atmosphere, though I did get lost during the campaign a few times.

go ahead and get it if you got some spare money.

Damnit sale ended just as I got the money.

I place two .45's in a beast and it dies, yet when there are a bunch and I unload a whole 5.56 clip, none of them die.

Met up with some guy in the game and you go to another metro but you need to go plant explosives to defend the place.
Can't get anywhere near due to masses of enemies.
