Help with votekick and kicking/banning.

I happen to have votekick and it was a pretty decent add on. It always kicked the player when the vote succeeded so it clearly worked. But, I used to have it where if it kicked someone another message popped up saying "CONSOLE banned [playername]" and this banned the player on every votekick succeeded. I would like it back. I lost that part somehow, and it works for my friends so I should be able to get it back. Another thing to add is that the ban had a reason. "Being a nuisance to the server"

So, does anybody know how I get that back?

Hey, tootsiepop. You need that version of vote kick to have the CONSOLE part back.

Also try setting it to ban instead of just kick in the RTB server settings.

Mine is updated to v3. Just like my friend.

But I will check inside more settings and see if I could do anything.

But still, I'm a beginner at that stuff. I usually need more details.

voteban is a bad idea
I'll give you an example situation

there are two people in a server, MLG1 and MLG2
MLG1 and MLG2 are both in the same clan, so they have sort of a special interest for each other and hate everyone who doesn't love their clan
ARES1 comes into the server, and notices that there are two MLG members here, and says "hi!"
the MLG guys start a voteban against him, obviously they succeed
and so, ARES1 is banned for however long just because these two friend whores didn't like him

I honestly don't care of how bad an idea it is.

The auto CONSOLE ban with votekick , I still want it back.

Go into RTB prefs and increase the Votekick ban time. That should cause it to start banning rather than kicking.

It was already at 5 minutes but it still only seemed to kick and the CONSOLE ban didn't work.

Honestly, you shouldn't use votekick/ban. Get some real admins to moderate your server.
