if a government has to threaten you to go to war, then you are living in fear of your government and not allowed the protest (what protest really means to the founding fathers, not the sign holding cigarettes)
we were promised that we never had to fear our government. its what it was created to be.

if the government ever accumulate to much power and abuse it, then we have to fight for our own rights here at home to not have it.

most of you grew up in a US that does nothing but war. it seems you forget what we were really about.

1. More unessecary prisons just because people followed your way and wanted to stay in jail wasting their life away
2. ^
3. Absolutely wrong. I doubt anybody in the army just signed up to be a Flash Mober.
4. And yet you think drafting is still an excuse to go to war, when you clearly believe you'd want to be in jail instead of joining a branch of the military for 4 years minimum?
5. Drafting???

Except this time he's extra wrong.

And you're against the drafted because they pick the better choice?

Fight for 4 or go to prison for more?

>Joins army
>Gets job as plumber

Woo! Grab your .50 cals and let's kill some territs!

And who the hell do you think you are?

Some real patriot who would mock the people who died just so you could complain about it?

I hope I don't become a cook in the army or else Bisjac will hate my guts.

lol all your guys arguments are that the vets just didnt want jailtime.
not that they actually gave a crap about the country or the need for (the) war.

it really dosnt help your side of the debate at all lol

Well your side isn't much better

Fight for 4 or go to prison for more?
thats not the point. the point is to not just get pushed around in fear. if you decide to get drafted into a war you don't support, and don't do something about it, you're a coward.

No, you brought up that you'd rather be in jail than actually do stuff for your country, war or not.

You'd just be some useless nobody that would forget up his life just to get a point across.
You would change nothing. All you could've done was waste human potential fighting for your rights.

You'd have to be an even bigger fool to think that they'll have a problem shipping your ass to the nearest prison.

isnt forcing fear upon your own people the first sign of tyranny?

i guess invading random countries goes with that just well though.

im a constitutionalist. a rare breed of the best kind of american. you think you can hurt me with claims of not caring about my country? you are caring about the imperialism, not the USA

it's not about dodging draft or dodging jail time. if the government goes to war with india because they stole a piece of cheese from israel, you guys would just go and beat the crap out of indians because it takes less time than sitting in prison. you're being pushed around.

Why do they send you to jail if you don't join?

Name one country we've invaded without reason.

Why do they send you to jail if you don't join?

that was only during draft times. we arent on a draft right now.
but it can come back if they need it.
