surb, about how long had the server been up when it died? around.. say.. 24 days?

Say... 24.8551348 days?

yes
kalphiter gets it

kalphiter what exactly is the deal on that

the number returned from getSimTime goes over a certain amount then the game dies cause it doesn't know how to handle that big of a number?

2147483648 / 1000 / 60 / 60 / 24 = 24.8551348

Simulation of... sim time as it happens:

 2147483646
 2147483647
-2147483648
-2147483647

It's a 4-byte signed integer, so when all bytes are 255, they all flip to 0 starting from the bottom again.

and 2147483648 is the largest integer that torque can handle?

Reset game.  Wait for me to fix bug.

Well in that case, the server must have crashed because of that and somehow managed to restart my entire computer.
