Basically my thoughts when I played this game. Spore did, however, define my early days of gaming. Based on the gaming hours I logged on it I had played somewhere around two hundred hours or so before I got bored.
Cell stage: Hey, this is so awesome! I love doing this!
Creature stage: Mhm, befriending or fighting other creatures. [1 hour later] Okay... [1 hour later...] WHEN DOES THIS loving stuff END [1 nest move later]AFter the move my nest was on a damn peninsula with no one else on it and I had to walk back to find other nests to befriend or fight. [1 hour later] FINALLY DONE [Enters tribal stage]
Tribal stage: - Before betterspore: Hey, pretty fun, albeit boring though because I'm more into future stuff, but ok.
-After betterspore: [Goes to befriend other village] [Game crashes] [Tableflip.png]
Civ stage: - Before betterspore: Hey, this stage is pretty damn cool!
-After betterspore: [Me reads betterspore FAQ on why the game crashed on tribal] [Sees civ will crash too] [Skips civ]
Space stage: :o [A damn boring tutorial later] Fun! [few hours later] Fun! [few hours later] Fun. [few hundred alien attacks on my planets where the idiots in my colonies can't defend themselves with full cities and uberturrets, and a few goddamn eco disasters, damn I hate this stuff] Fu..un...[few hours later] forget this stuff I'm gonna cheat so I can play however the forget I want, this is taking ages.
