i read the Marvel "~whoa gay people~" x-men and was like "ok," but i don't keep track of DC, so this is fairly surprising.

Yeah you're right its not fair to take it out on you or the US people in general. Most governments have forgeted up their countries in the last decade, and religion is historically handicapped everywhere.

BL forums is the cause of this. How many times do you see kids on the post RL pics of yourself topic pretending they're gay because they think it's cool. I can't even count how many times I've seen a like 12 year old on the forums go like "omg he's a cutie I have a GF but I like boys too hehe" just for the attention it gets. DC realized this new fad in fake homoloveuality and are using it to sell some comic books it's pretty smart.
