Author Topic: Paint color remembered for different bricks?  (Read 852 times)

Would there be a way to remember what color you selected for a certain brick? You'd switch to brick A and set your paint can to, let's say blue, then scroll to brick B and set it to green but be able to go back to brick A and have the ghost brick still be blue?

hmm...this sounds nice.
idk if its possible, but /support.

It would make building quicker when you wouldn't have to keep switching colors.

or you could just switch paint between bricks, like you've always done
besides, I'm not sure if this is even doable

LAZY

It's entirely possible, almost easy. It would be really annoying, what if you had it on and didn't want lots of colors. I know in a lot of my builds all of the same bricks are different colors

There is a /getColor command add-on somewhere...

its not that hard already to change paint... but if you = lazy ass like me...

Then you'd use the same color for all the bricks.
You could just scroll to the color that you wanted for each brick and then they're all the same color.

Lets say that I need to fill in a grey wall with lots of different size bricks. What if I had just finished doing the teal, white, and navy interior? For every different piece I would need to scroll allllll the way back to the same grey.

There could be a "set all" keybind that makes all the inventory slots use the same colour.

That's a good idea, but I would still be annoyed by it

dont install it, then?

Ofc
I'm sure I'm not the only one who would find it annoying though.
What I can see for this idea is a very limited use that only a few people actually need
