Author Topic: Type-sorting events?  (Read 1067 times)

I'm not quite sure what exactly it is called, but it would be nice to be able to use events without using the mouse.

what you would do:

click event box, type partial name of event you want, press enter when the event you want is highlighted, then move onto the next box and repeat until you finish with your events.

can anyone make this? it would make eventing a lot less tedious.

you could type your events into a text file and load it with the event saver

That's cool, but I'm the kind of person that likes doing things ingame. I don't really think about my events ahead of time.

i do it while BL is open, i don't write it and then open the game and load it
normaly i save the events, open in a text file, and modify a value with ctrl F and load them in again

this would save time and make eventing a whole lot easier to make events and/or mess around with.

If you like doing it that way, great. I just think it would be more intuitive to have it all ingame. Less of a hassle.

+1 to this idea. I always thought it'd be nice to fast-find anything in a drop-down/combobox by just typing a few letters. Especially true for people who have a lot of events, items, vehicles, lights, sounds, music or other things accessed by a drop-down menu.
