well the thing is, amds new chipset came last year, now intels new chipset is out.
pci3.0 is out as well.
you should want a motherboard that can use all the new stuff. even if you are using older generation parts on it for now, can easily upgrade them later.
starting with an old gen motherboard is already inviting many problems for how your comp will age. as you will hit brick walls when upgrading in a year or 2
