Author Topic: Plate has 205 million studs  (Read 4708 times)

Therefore, in blockland, one TU is approximately .5 inches.
It's actually 0.625 inches
1 TU is 2 studs, and 16 studs is 5 inches. Therefore, 1 TU is 5/8 inches, or 0.625

looked to me like 1inch = 4 studs

guess i'm blind :C

We're talking about something else

Quickly, someone figure out how deep slate is!

If you move more than 999999 TU away from the center, it'll start getting really glitchy. Thus, if you use that as size, it's 3999996 (in plates, 19999980) bricks deep (from top to bottom, not from what you stand on). In total, the non-glitchy area of Slate can contain ~63999808000192 + 1019 bricks3. If we counted plates instead, the number would be ~31999904000096 + 1020 bricks3.

In English it's a really loving big number.

I found an issue in my calculation. If you filled up the non-glitchy area of Slate with 1x1 bricks, you would have ~6399961600096 * 1037 bricks3.

That's approximately 63999616000960000000000000000 000000000000000000000 bricks3.

Bricks are 3d shapes, so they don't need to be cubed to be used as a 3d measurement.  Same goes for studs, they don't need to be squared, they're a 2d unit.
