I just read that part actually, which may change my mind a bit about getting it.. but my biggest problem is I never really liked squad based games. more and more horror squad based games have been releasing since the rise of Left 4 Dead and it makes me sad :C

I dunno, I'd like to keep it as Horror because the zombies are very nicely done and the game was rather creepy and stuff. But the squad stuff always ruins it for me.

it's not creepy because you know what's trying to kill you, and you know how to stop them from killing you. for something to be truly creepy, it should make you feel afraid of things by using atmosphere instead of a horde of easily killable zombies.

I didn't mean that part of it. I meant kinda like in L4D where you first go from the roof of the apartments to the actual rooms. Just that.. eerie feeling. Only a few zombies.. some of them just blankly staring into the wall.. Then when it turns, yells and starts running hellbent on eating you're flesh.

But that is where it ends, and then I realize i'm actually playing some team based fps crap.. :C

I find the main point of OP to be very empty.

Look at Duke Nukem Forever for example.  It took forever to become a reality (even though it was eventually a letdown) but people rushed to play it.
