along with the ability to break barriers, can probably lift as much as purple, has a heightened fire resistance and may be used for pressure pads
not sure about combat, because the best way to attack is to throw it directly onto an enemy, however it is probably hard to lift because of its assumed weight. probably can't swim either.
maybe they're perfect walls of defense and can damage the enemy if eaten
Large Rock is not as effective as a tiny little pikmin hitting you with his leaf? Makes sense. It probably will do a 1 hit high damage
It probably wont have the same lifting force as purple pikmin. Just because its a rock doesnt mean its super strong. Its arm's probably cant even reach in front of it's body. Also it can be lifted because we saw the Player throw it at the glass and Metal barrier

Later, the Armored Mawdad shows that they are regular pikmin with a hard, rock shell. He crushes the rock pikmin back into regular ones. The fight with the Mawdad shows that Rock Pikmin cannot hold onto monsters
