According to epic games this engine can utilize 1 or more teraflops (whatever that means) pay attention the particles because they are all individually rendered they aren't simple sprites or textures. Epic games has also confirmed they are already working on several next gen titles.

Watch_Dogs I'm pretty sure uses Unreal Engine 4.

The video says the trailer is rendered in-engine.
flowing rendered water in video games. hot.

"rendered in-engine"  So?  Every Valve trailer is done in-engine, but the games don't look that nice.

"Rendered in-engine" and "rendered real-time" mean two different things. It would be a pretty stuffty demo for a game engine if the demo itself isn't rendered in-engine.

Wait, this is rendered in real-time?

Yes, but they never said if it was running real time or not.  But that really doesn't mean much either, we wouldn't know what specs the computer had or how much of the scene was pre-baked.

It was running on a single graphics card consumer PC. They didn't say the specific one but I think I read somewhere that they used a GTX 690.

I dunno, seems fairly real to me.

That stuff be crazy.

I don't know what looks better Unreal Engine 4 or Luminous Engine!

Video of Luminous

And exactly how many people own a 690?  Not many.  They cost as much as many whole PCs.  Also, once again, how much is pre-baked?

This is the impressive stuff, he's actually interacting with the engine.
