I think America's obesity problem is a load of bullstuff.

PEOPLE NEED TO EAT LESS.
BETTER FOR EVERYTHING.

Furling, please stop posting random stuff you find from Yahoo

Take roughly the population of Australia, times that by 4, take away a bit and you get how many obese americans there are.

Isn't BMI broken? Why do people even use it?

Almost every single thread you post on offtopic is this and I'm talking to furling.

Really the only reason is a mix of stupidity and ignorance.

Even though i'm in USA but not obese,
i don't see what's wrong with being bigger.

BMI is pretty stuffty because it only takes weight and height into consideration.
When you then get those who train, they have large muscles, which weigh a considerable amount, their BMI picks them up as being overweight. Even if they were to have almost no body fat at all.

It's like me looking into a crowd of people and saying anyone who is wide is clearly obese. Regardless of their physical build.

To measure a real BMI don't you need like a special test with water displacement

That's not BMI, it's working out Volume.
Which apparantely is now the best way to work out if your body is in the shape it should be.
But really, who the hell is going to go and get their volume tested out to see if they're fit?

Health problems that are associated with being obese such as death.

I'm normal :D
