*spoiler* When John Marston is killed by the Government/American Army at his house/farmstead. *spoiler*

that wasnt a very good job at hiding the spoiler

I did a bad job at warning people that what I was posting may spoil the story of Red Dead Redemption for them. Oh no.

A few years ago, I got Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, and I finished it while in Texas with my dad. It was just so sad seeing the entire game series was one kids coma trip. The sadness was lessened by the fact they just shoved all the attention to this one random character.

Another sad moment is in Sonic Adventure, when Gamma dies. He was such an amazing character.

And finally, Metal Gear Solid 4, where Naomi kills herself in front of Otacon.

Also, just a side note, if I see Aerith's death from FF7 mentioned anywhere in this thread, somebody is getting their stuff flipped so hard that it will pierce the heavens.

I saw "John Marston is killed" before I even began reading your post.
Why bother marking a spoiler if it's right there in the open.

super mario rpg, when it was revealed that mallow was adopted(even though it was deadly obvious)

Super Mario Galaxy, when you're reading this storybook about Rosalina's past. The game's ending was also a great moment. You actually listen to the same music in both of these, which seems to make it more heartbreaking.

Also, The Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword. The scene between Link and Zelda before Zelda imprisons herself in that crystal.
