Author Topic: New Clan "Dead Cell"  (Read 1048 times)

Hello Blockland users. I've made a new clan know as "Dead Cell". It's mainly a building group. If you wish to join, just PM me (Squid 0) your BL name and then change your clan tags to "Dead" and "Cell". If you are part of another clan, Just put "DC". Anyone who wants may join. Our goal is to make the biggest and best sci-fi builds. The main theme of the builds is toxic/radio active. Examples: Toxic plants, Space Ships carrying radioactive cargo, ect. This clan is hosted on Squid 0's server on weekends, but you can still PM me and join during week days.

You realize that with this little effort and information put into a clan topic, you aren't going to get any new members.

You lack a lot of information in the OP, and a format.
I would advise asking somebody who knows things about formatting clan OP's to help you with one, although I could slap up a quick one. I'm just saying.
Quick list of stuff you may need:
-News, if you plan on having this clan up for a while
-Member list
-Goal of clan
-Or what clan's about
-Examples of work
-Sign-up requirements
-Planned projects, although you may want to set this up later on when you have more/any members.

PM me if you'd like a simple layout for the OP.

Thanks xxxxkill. I'll use your suggestion. The post sucks so bad because it's my first.

Personally, I'd look at the OP's of these clans for help:
GBLD
ARES
AOB
BNFBL
And avoid the stuff out of using this clan as a reference.

I'd use GBLD especially, as it's rather easy to navigate, although you'd need some serious expertise in BBC in order to replicate it. One last word of advice, do not copy+paste unless you're trying to figure out how something works.

On the matter of the images, make sure that the quality is not lacking, since one part of one is all pixelated and messy. Another point is to upload images to an image hosting site such as Photobucket and insert them into the body of the post by using this bbcode: [ img ] link here [ /img ]
Delete the spaces and use that.
