Blockland is owned by Coca-Cola.

Before it went retail, you couldn't build anywhere you wanted, the map had specified areas where you could build.

Cube bricks weren't added until v9, and the /clearspambricks command wasn't added until v10

If you look in the console.log, you can see that the game searches for a 3dfx Voodoo2 on startup. The Voodoo2 was a common 3D-accelerator when TGE was developed.

/clearspambricks command wasn't added until v10

It was V11, do your research before posting something like this.

The default print of a convict's uniform has the number "867-5309" in a tip of the hat to the song "Jenny/8675309"
holy

Except for Windows XP users, in first-person, the alarm emote will murder the Blockland user's ears.
As will the win sound used in treasure chests.

Okiver is a friend.
in previous versions Zoneark wrote a program that stole key's from anyone that joined the server (correct me if it was a mod)

Blockland is a game!

Evolution of "wrench events":
Space Guy's "trap bricks" (bricks with certain properties e.g. disappearing or insta-kill)
-> Space Guy's events
Events were sequential; could not have two events occur at the same time, and there was a strict limit of ten events per brick. Delays were measured in 10ths of a second (x00 ms where x was a number from 1 to 600) and the delay box could hold up to 3 characters, which made things like (2.5)00 ms (250 ms) possible.
Interestingly enough, some things were possible with Space Guy's events that still aren't possible today, like having a laser/infra-red beam trigger events when a user steps through them.
-> "Official" Wrench Events in v9
Greatly improved the events formula with input->target->output system. Maximum delay reduced to 30 seconds (30000 ms) but you had a lot more control over the delay, even if the delay was not--and still is not--1:1. v9 wrench events also included some very abusable events such as onToolBreak and similarly, a killBrick output event which actually destroyed the brick.

Someone mentioned earlier a "virus" which duplicated the default sound files. This was the "Amiga Soundpack" and it was more a nuisance than a "virus" in the typical sense of the word. If you went onto a server with the Amiga Soundpack enabled, you would download the default music loops again, and that's how it spread around; people kept downloading the default music loops again, even if they deleted them.

Before retail, the Blockheads looked a lot more like Lego minifigs but of course Badspot had to change the look when he made the game retail in fear of a lawsuit from Lego. In fact, Badspot was originally trying to get involved with Lego as a partner to help him make his game. The deal fell through (you'll have to get the details from someone else), and that's how we got the armless, legless Blockos we have today, along with the square studs on bricks.

Hey, does anyone have any idea where the default music loops came from, who created them, and if they were made specifically for this game? (i.e. After School Special, Distort, Peaceful, Rock, Stress_, etc.) That would be some interesting trivia to learn.
