Author Topic: Having a problem for skyrim on PC  (Read 2550 times)

So I just started to play skyrim recently, and now whenever I try and play I have the skyrim mouse and my regular mouse on the screen at the same time. Now that isn't a big deal except for the fact that the skyrim mouse moves faster than my regular, resulting in me having two mouses in different positions. I tried googling, But I couldn't find anything helpful.

Reduce sensitivity on one of the mice?

I want the skyrim mouse to be there only..

If you make the speed of both mice the same, they will over lap and you wont have two mice flying around.

Its not a Real fix but ya know.

I dont think it would work. you would see if you saw it, I dont know how to explain it though

find out a way to remove the main mouse cursor.

and slow the sensitivity on the skyrim cursor.

have you tried restarting the game

find out a way to remove the main mouse cursor.
very helpful

if OP knew how to then this wouldn't have been made

Obviously he didn't search hard enough.

OP, how about trying this.

1. Open install folder
2. Locate TESV.exe and right-click it
3. Select Properties from the pop-up menu
4. In the Properties menu, select the tab Compatibility
5. Locate the section Display Settings
6. Select Disable visual themes

That should remove the main cursor problem.

I sometimes have this problem.
It goes away after I restart it though.

I tried restarting the game, and Wound I did search around but Im not very good with googling obscure things like this. I will try that though

Edit: I tried it but there is no compatibility in the properties menu. also I couldn't find anything relating to Display settings either

If it doesn't work
  • Try to run your TESV.exe --> Run this program as administrator.

And
  • Are you running on a MAC?
  • Are you In windowed mode?
