If you could make a more futuristic door, that would be cool.
Like in one of the more futuristic games and/or movies. (Halo, Star Wars)
I don't really know which one of the many, it just has to look a bit futuristic.

halo's doors are kinda like elevator doors(in the wya that they slide) turned sideways so they go up and down. atleast the ones are ships are, judging from halo 1. theres also the doors in that one underground lab thing that open like that i believe

you dont need both an L and R version if you use CW and CCW properly
No, the other side has to be a plain metal handle. The kind you can only pull on. It's a door that can always be opened from the inside but may or may not be opened from the outside (don't worry about eventing it more than usual though). To get both left- and right-hand, it has to be mirrored, not just opened the other direction.

there are only two ways i can think of that would work for opening a door from one side alone. one is a brick with ray casting enabled, but nothing else so you cant  click through it. but if you stand in it you would be able to click the door so you would need to event the door to make it to where it uncollides when it opens and goes back to colliding when its done. or you could use variables, i believe.

Click to open it with restriction or walk onto an onPlayerTouch or zone brick on the inside floor to open it without restriction, also pushing it open without the need to put away your item

so there has only been 1 comit on may idea and he dosnt get it has any one elts even seen my idea?

Hijack mode activated. Right side shows the handle pushed down. It's tough to make it all fit a single brick's width.

If you are making this alread I'll skip it

So much this
Man, I just kept activating them just to watch how they move

ive always liked the concept that you have to put away your gun to open a door. but i do like that because its a push bar, you could keep your gun out.

I say, make one of the portal Giant Circular doors!
Maybe...
A falling brick wall door
A 'pick up the tile to get in' door
A small cabinet door
Tall doors
Glass door

I believe, you don't have to make JVS be doors.
Couldn't you make an engine, it would have an animation of the pistons moving 1 time for each side.
After you did that, you would make it loop in the events (oncontentstopped > contentstart)

Nonono
contentstart starts the engine
the animation then runs forever like the fans
contentstop stops the engine

That's why it's called JVS content and not JVS doors XD
JVS may as well be called JVS Props
