Sorry guys, the first topic was too old to post in.
Anybody else here sick of the new sonic games? Don't get me wrong, Generations was an awesome game but them recreating the old Sonic Adventure levels just makes me want to play another one. The two games SA1 and SA2 are one of my most favorite games in the Sonic series. I think it would be awesome to recreate Chao Gardens, maybe versing other chao's online?

I also heard something about Crush 40's new album had two refrences to both games so a lot of people are thinking the game may come out.

Do you think Sonic Team would do it?

Apparently "Sonic the Hedgehog" aka 'sonic 2006' was the sequel to SA2. It was really bad and no one liked it aside from some blindly dedicated fanboys because it was infested with terrible bugs.

I will never accept that as SA3, no Chao Garden and the entire game was just stuff. Besides you could only play as three characters where in the first two you could play as a wide arrange of characters.

Oh god...that atrocious piece of crap was the sequel to that great game?

And it had terrible bugs that made the game litterally unplayable.

i'm pretty OK with the notion that the Adventure plotline/series has come and gone. i mean, sure, i want to play as the rest of the Sonic cast, but i don't really want to play them if they don't play like sonic in the first place

but on the other hand i miss the chao garden. an HD version with modern improvements and sensibilities would be the COOLEST THING

The entire point of a Sonic Adventure 3.

Gameplay-wise, I think they nailed it with Generations. I enjoyed it more so than any sonic game since Heroes. If they had added a Chao Garden into it it would have been so awesome. The garden is really the only thing left I want from them now. If they keep their gameplay in this area when going forward, and add a Chao Garden, they'll have it made.

The only aspects I miss from Adventure/2 was playing Knuckles' levels (searching for the master emerald pieces was fun), and the open-world feel of running/walking to the next level. I can live without those two though.

I actually enjoyed Sonic '06. Besides the multiplayer mode, I don't think I ever actually ran into any bugs in the game. The only thing I hated about it was that there are very few times when you could play as Tails and the others, and you had to work your way through a character's story until you can play as them, which sucks because Tails is probably my favourite character in video gaming.

I really miss the times when Sonic games were all about 3D gameplay. I think the 2D/3D shifting gameplay we have now is very neat, but the 3D sections just aren't the same at all.

I have the same feelings, but most people think the Knuckles/ Rouge levels were boring. I always had fun searching around maps.

the only people who think it was boring are the people who got lost while playing a level
which was really easy in the one temple with that ghost thing

problem is you can't use the hint screen computers if you want to get an A rank on the missions
this means instead you have to look everywhere the game would program it to normally be
so then that's no good!

I believe SA1 didn't have the hints.
