it's funny because knife party was made by two of the most important members of Pendulum.

cry some more.
its exactly what I hate about it.

Pendulum was disbanded because they wanted to go 100% on knife party (which is stuff, it is nothing compared to Pendulum.)

you think it's stuff because you're just mad that swire and mcgrillen wanted a change of pace. oh god what a terrible thing.

imo all of the monstercat music sounds like the same artist.

you can't be serious lmfao

they all sound the same to me. I can't tell the difference between each artist
it's not really a bad thing
I guess it's just something. dunno what to call it. but I can usually tell the difference between each lapfox alias.
what I've heard from monstercat all has the same style
maybe I'm not listening to the proper songs, or something

please tell me how this sounds anything like this.

They both begin with the same rythym, very similar sounding baseline. About 1/3 of the way through they have very similar instruments, then the vocals don't sound that similar either. Just my opinion.

no, see, right off the bat it's next to impossible for them to sound anything alike because they're completely different tempos. Rock the Flock is 128 BPM while Blow Exxplode is 133 BPM. their instruments also don't sound anything alike because the lows, mids, and highs in Blow Exxplode are bitcrushed, while the lows, mids and highs in Rock the Flock aren't bitcrushed because it's nu disco and literally nothing in nu disco uses bitcrushing.

I could keep going but I think I've made my point.

I played them side by side and other than slight displacement in the BPM they still sound exactly alike to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.

if you can't tell the difference between bitcrushed instruments and non-bitcrushed instruments then either you're half-deaf or your headphones suck.

or both.

I don't wear headphones and I can hear the difference. It's pretty small to me.
