Recently went to look at my games list filtered by which ones I've played the most. Didn't work at all they were still in a completely random order.

the only solutions are

• login when you still have an internet connection, hibernate, start again when you don't have it
• mess with .cfg files, doesn't work most of the time
• be lucky like Night Fox

I don't think it's luck
probably has something to do with having my password remembered by the program?
I know that you have to have your password saved with it to start steam in offline mode
