i had a specilized at one point, i bought it on a auction, then customized it.
i dont like specilized at all, some good ones are sunday fundays, fit bike co, eastern, S and M are just a couplke of decent bikes.
edit2: its acual a decent color scheme from specilized.

If I was going to spend $1000 on a bike I'd buy a nice competition level hybrid and some extra tires so I could swap out from smooth road tires to treads easily. Sure you like it but what makes the bike you bought worth $1000?
