TF2 Offline?

This is my first time trying out TF2, I just go on to start an Offline game, but what the heck happens when the game starts. I see like actual players with actual names. They don't talk at all but i'm still not convinced that if they are bots are not.

They are bots.

The "players" you see are just their bot names.

like "Archimedes"
It's usually quotes/other game names.
"Chell" i think is one of them.

they've tricked me too when i play online and the server has bots to fill in missing players. i thought one was real and started getting mad at it

They are pretty convincing. The AI is pretty good and they use tactics.

Meh, it's not that good. I've seen them do some really dumb stuff.

It's impossible to be a spy around bots. They know where you are and they constantly stare at you.

They are stupid compared to players, but they are pretty good sometimes. :o
The way they aim is stupid though. Based on the difficulty they will delay the time it takes to lock on to you like an aimbot.

I've messed with them on CTF, they aren't good at defense on those. I guess I should expect that though because they aren't meant for it.

I just play team deathmatch so they act similar to that of most TF2 players.

Plus I haven't played a multiplayer game in over a year so I don't remember what it's like to play with real players anymore. ;-;

Offline mode with bots on VSH is really fun. They are actually good at playing VSH. 0_0
