"The Extended Cut is an expansion of the original endings to Mass Effect 3," BioWare said. "It does not fundamentally change the endings, but rather it expands on the meaning of the original endings, and reveals greater detail on the impact of player decisions."

Quote
The extended ending adds additional scenes and epilogue sequences. "It provides more of the answers and closure that players have been asking for. It gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series. And it shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings."

Here we go.
Again.

I wouldn't be surprised.

So were they like "oh stuff we really forgeted up" and made new content or was this planned all along?

I've already expressed my opinions on this whole situation, but to sum it up: I get really angry when people demand for the ending to be changed, its like going to see a movie, not liking it, and then making the director/producer change it. Sure criticism is good for the company to learn from their mistakes for future productions but demanding a change is ridiculous. I hate when people say, "ME3 was a great game, I had a ton of fun until the ending ruined the whole thing for me." It's such bullstuff, I don't buy games just for the last few minutes, and the ending of ME3 was not bad enough to warrant the loving bullstuff they got about it.

But anyway, I really want a ultimate edition or whatever of the game to come out. That way I could get the game for pc and have all the dlc and shiz rather than having a not very fun time playing my brothers copy on the 360 with a controller. And also continue my character from the first two.

I'm really worried

If the extended ending doesn't explain the vast amounts of un-explainable stuff that happened near the end I think I'm going to cry.

If I was Bioware i would actually make a purple and yellow explosion for the extended ending. Then put a "LOL JK" message and show us the actual ending.

If this means that the indoctrination theory is kaput, well I give up.
