Permanently banned for cursing?

I run a server with a no cursing rule. You are let off with 3-4 kick warnings. If you continue the offence then you are banned. My reason for instigating this rule is to keep immature arguments from occurring because people can be offended by the strength of the word and take it too seriously if it was actually a joke. I haven't had to ban hardly anyone over it too. Let the person who runs his or her server the way she sees fit. Your opinions on whether or not the rule is pointless or stupid, are opinions. They can be claimed to hold factual implications but only by the person entitled to the opinion, not to the person running the server.

The person running the server however, should be a little more lenient and increase the warning limit. I personally believe Scratch might have accidentally repeated the chat like he said.

Dude, if in the rules it says not to curse then dont curse you loving handicap. And dont bring your ban that you brought upon yourself to the forums.

It says in the Welcome Message not to cuss. I have been there. You shouldn't have cursed.

the thing is, people often like to tease me, and often times when i kick them they will come back a d shout out a sentence of profanities in rage. i ban after 1 warning so i dont have to pause to kick every time. if the person ACTUALLY doesnt curse for awhile and does by accident and apologizes, i consider letting him off without a kick. but most cases its the former, where the only thing the kick accomplishes is enraging the person.

i think cursing is pointless and harsh, it takes what used to be actual terms such as damn and bitch and uses it to cheifly offend people, wheather the insult has little to do with the meaning. bitch means idiot and damn means stupid. its just the use of the profane words 'makes more of an impact'. i dont want people cursing on my server because i dont want to get used to hearing it and then saying it myself.

He was simply quoting the words, he did not say them. Read the words themselves, not what you think they say.
