Ths Sims 2
Quote from: The Sims Wiki
The Sims 2, commonly referred to as TS2, is the sequel to The Sims. Released in September 2004, it heralded sweeping changes from the original: most notably, the isometric view of the original had given way to full 3D. Also, Sims now have life stages (Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult and Elder) which had them age from birth to death, and their genetics would be passed on to their children. Unlike the original Sims, where you could spend forever raising their skills, the aging system in The Sims 2 imposes a time limit on this before your Sims die.
Did you know?
That Bella Goth is missing form the game! There is no traces of her death and if you put up a Bella Goth painting in Strangetown she will become a townie.

Fun thing: If you choose an angry or mean personality thingie for your sim in the sims 3 it's possible to choose 'troll on internet forum' when clicking a computer.

I played countless hours of Sims 1 and 2 from ages 6-10; and then I got half life 1 and HL2 for my birthday when I was 11. Everything changed, then.

I've been playing the Sims 3 nonstop lately, so I'm probably going to post here a ton. OP could use some more pictures, links to old threads, and better info.

How? You can resize them inside the image tags with [img height=xx) and [img width=xx) if it's a size issue.

Did you know Maxis stands for Six am because the 2 words are fliped backwords

Adding the expansions for each game aside will be a nice addition.

Oh wait, that means you have to write a book.

My bad.  :cookieMonster:

forget off EA/Maxis.

Protip: moodlet manager is a piece of stuff.

Bumping with my life story.

My house is three stories, four if you count the basement with my relic, gem/metal/rock, and machine collection. The house is worth ~250k, and I always have about 150k spending money on me. I own half the town's venues, all of which I have added my last name to.

My self sim alone has mastered martial arts, guitar, painting, writing, inventing, fishing, gardening, athletic, logic, and handiness. My wife has mastered cooking (), my son mastered guitar, and my daughter mastered martial arts and athletic.

I've earned my fortune through working numerous fun jobs. I started out as a ghost hunter and worked my way up to career level nine before joining the military in hopes of becoming an astronaut. I got up to level five in the military before I was recruited into law enforcement level six, then was once again recruited into a new career; professional sports, level nine. I went undefeated for every game I played, which ended up being about twenty. I got to know my wife through this job, and we got married.

Then one day I came home and caught her cheating... so we got divorced. Luckily I sold her 85k car and bought her a cheaper 30k car a few days prior, so after the divorce I still had a great fortune to my name, as well as a two story house at this point.

My house.

For a while I was depressed (The Sims has a special way of causing me to feel the emotions my sims do) and sat around the house writing. I still worked as a sports legend, though I often went to work with in a low mood.

I had been making trips to the consignment store regularly, it's where I scouted for rare metals or gems to add to my private collection. Lately a new girl had been working there, her name was Wendi Nesbitt. We chatted a lot and she was very pretty, so we went on a few dates. We had the same musical tastes, were both computer wizards, and were both hopeless romantics. So after a while we got married and she moved in.

Life was good. Wendi performed romantic actions very often, which I enjoyed. I quit the professional sports career (I only had one day of no work a week, holy cow) and became a writer. I wrote sixty novels and made 250k off my writing, and to this day I still make 36k a week in royalties. Wendi and decided to have our first child, who was a girl named Clare (named after Clare Torry). Clare was very athletic so we took a trip to China to buy her some martial arts equipment (I'm rich enough to afford trips to faraway countries just for furniture aw yeah). Clare mastered the skill and decided to move out, as she was a young adult now.

Wendi and I then had our second child, a boy named Gilmour (named after David Gilmour). Coincidentally, he had the virtuoso skill and mastered guitar unbelievably fast. Gilmour moved across the street from his big sister Clare, who lived next to Wendi and I. My family owned three houses on the street.

While Gimour was growing up, I began the master invention opportunity and spent the next two in-game months in search of palladium and a pink diamond, as well as farming life fruit. I built a female SimBot named Zenia, who joined learned to play piano. I had mastered the guitar skill long ago, and decided it would be cool to have a family band. Wendi learned drums and thus the band "Dictatorial Happiness" was born. I quit my job as writer and ordered all three members of my household to register as a self-employed band member. This was my sixth career.

Zenia the SimBot's room.

So lastly I went on a solo trip to Egypt and gathered enough fragments to construct a plain sarcophagus, dive well, and Sarcophagus of the Kings. I went home and summoned a mummy, who now lives on the second floor of my house.

Name I Can't Pronounce or Spell the Mummy's room.

The mummy, the third chick living in my house (I'm the only guy) plays bass in the band. We have so many instruments that I made a third floor entirely for music.

This is my house now.

All in all my sim has, literally, seen and done it all. He witnessed the bistro and thirty bystanders get hit by a meteor, fought for his town in the military, got turned into a vampire by his police partner, traveled in time, gone on underground adventures, became a sports legend, drank a vampire antidote, built an incredibly expensive private museum in his basement, topped the charts with his fifteen book science fiction series "Galactic Siege," got married twice, had two kids, built a robot, resurrected a mummy, harvested plants that can prevent death, bought most of the city, won countless awards for his skill mastery and contributions to the town, built a mansion with his own hands, and now plays in a band, strumming great tunes on guitar. He's lived a life worth living, the kind every sim wants to live.
