Nexus - IRC Chat

I was asking a question in the IRC chat room and I noticed I got a message from "Nexus" saying "I am not available to answer you right now, please try again later". Since I had never asked him anything, I messaged him back in the PM and it just repeated itself, like a chat bot. Then I messaged in the IRC chat room as a test and again it popped up in the PM. Then I asked if it was happening to anyone else and several people said that it was happening to them.

i'm assuming it was a fail AFK bot to tell people messaging him that he's not there, but it was taking messages from the public rooms and sending messages to the people talking there

We haven't proved that yet.

There is no evidence proving that he failed to make the bot. From what I see at this point, he did it to troll or because he wants attention.

This needs to be deleted before more people download it. And don't you think he would have noticed that before releasing it? That's kind of a big mistake.

What are you talking about?
The point of the mod is to tell you they're not available when they set their status to Away, so the mod is doing what it's supposed to.

What are you talking about? Did you read the op?

The mod replies back to you when you type in the general discussion chat room, not just the PM. So whenever you talk to someone in general discussion, you get a message from him. I don't want more people downloading it because I don't want to get PM's from multiple people every time I send a message in general discussion.
