I used to play this. Kind of stopped when they got rid of the doughnut station. I might get back into it again. :o

The one thing I could never figure out was how the heck you fix people's genetic disorders and stuff.

I personally was not banned from Gibbed, as I JUST said. I know plenty of people who have, which is why I know about how Gibbed is stuff. Sometimes, there's reasons to kill people. Perhaps they annoy the stuff out of you and purposely try to make you forget up your job. Or maybe you just want to have a little bit of fun. Like if you're a doctor, and get bored with doing nothing but saving lives. So you kill a guy, and take him to a cloner. But the admins don't give a stuff and permanently ban you anyway.

Also, just because you kill someone doesn't mean they're out for the rest of the round. There's always cloning and putting their brain into a robot.

Why would you kill someone just because they're "annoying", or "just to have a little bit of fun". Those are terrible reasons to potentially end someone's round. Half the time people just ignore corpses and never drag them to genetics/robotics anyways. Yes, there are times when we would like to kill that annoying person. No, you should not do it unless you have an ACTUAL reason to. IE: them being an antagonist/you are an antagonist/an admin says they can be killed. Seriously, you wouldn't go as a doctor/whatever in real life and just kill people "FOR SCIENCE" and expect it to be okay, so while SS13 is NOT real life some of the standards are still there.

It's possible to come up with RP reasons to kill someone. Also, if someone is annoying the stuff out of you, like if you're a janitor, and the detective comes up to you and takes all of your gear and stores it away because "hurr durr mopping floors is illegal, syndicate agent" then it might be time to take action and teach him that purposely deterring you from your job will result very badly for him.
