i agree with most of the things in this topic, especially the part about the goal, in gmod rp's people allways forget that the goal isnt to Dm it is to create a virtual life with friends and such, just a daily escape from real lifes problems and challanges, maybe if someone looked at the gmod dark rp files and figured out how it saves the money server side we could intergrate that into blockland, but i know that a few people here dont want to get garrys mod involved with blockland, also a bank that actually saves your money, i mean pickels cash mods bank spots work fine but again if you leave its resetted, also a bank money Intrest system, nothing too complicated just somthing like money in bank (X) percentage of money to be used as intrest values (y) and then time to wait for intrest to be deposited (z)
so say........ X= 2k Y= 2% Z= 30 (minuets) so that would be........ 400$ interest every half hour of playing,
but then whoever makes the intrest system will have to somehow make it so that money gained through Interest does not contribute to the intrest gained, only the initial deposit(s)
for the bank system and stuff saving we could just use a simple BL ID saver function?
also i think that Bricks that are houses or 2 story apartments of a bank or somthing would sorta cut the lag involved with an rpg city build =?
thats another issue with RPG's, the cities lag really bad unless they are part of the map, like intergrated into the map, that could cut lag too couldnt it? such as in custom maps people just make the landscape, why not make blocklander sized houses part of the map, just a bit of collisioner and textures
