Author Topic: [Video Series] Let's Die - Dark Souls  (Read 1473 times)

I decided to start a playthrough series after recovering my old capture card. The premise of the series is where I basically play through really difficult or survival based games. I figured the best one to start with is Dark Souls.

So far I have three parts uploaded.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

P.S. This is my first let's play so please provide feedback on how I can improve it.

P.S.S. Watch in HD or I will castrate you with a spoon. It takes me a good hour and half to upload this stuff and another hour to render it.

It's a really good game. I'm really excited for the Prepare to Die Edition. It's going to add a bunch of new content and port it over to the PC. I've heard that it's going to use Windows Live though and is going to be locked at 30 fps.

But I figure someone will find a way to unlock the fps and Windows Live isn't that BAD.

Definitely worth buying when it comes to PC! :D (That is if you're a masochist.)

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVKfAW1dEbs *Squeal* I'm so excited!

too distracted by transcribed subtitles

"basis determines your based at the time stats and your sister"

Protip: upscaling SD to HD resolutions won't make it HD. You're just wasting HDD space and bandwidth by doing that, not to mention it takes longer to render.

"I'm gonna cook this shield."

Aside from some silly mistakes, I'm surprised how accurate transcribe subtitles are.

Mostly did it for audio purposes because it's a bit buggy on 480p and lower. Also I forgot to configure my capture card properly so the first five parts or so is going to be low def. I have increased the resolution though for next recordings.

why is that something they would do

why is that something they would do

Happens with a lot of big company ports like Need For Speed: The Run and Brink. I really don't understand why they do it either.

I was not forced to bump this.

I think the port to PC won't be very good for gameplay unless everyone uses a gamepad
what did you use to capture game???????????

Luckily I have an Xbox-360 PC controller. :P

I use a Dazzle HD to record with Pinnacle Studio to capture.
