Well... I signed up days after the survey thing started. Guess I'll have to wait 'till the release.

I'll just sign up later.
Anyway, this is something I should try, I need to do something productive with my brain.

Is it the same as trying to run a Valve game with the highest settings? For example, in L4D if I set my shader settings to Very High, I will crash because my specs can't handle it or something. Or is rendering the final animation or poster the same as using the TF2 Replay editor?

Basically, do you need a high-end PC to run Source Filmmaker, or to render high-quality videos/posters - or is all of that done when you render the final animation/poster?

it's pretty demanding when you're working on the scenes.

I don't know why you guys keep saying this like you have a right to be in the beta just because you signed up somewhat close to the opening time.

I've been dreaming of something like this, now I have a tool to work with.

Where does it appear at if you get it?

as a new item at the top right corner of the steam window I suppose

Is it possible to lower the display settings when working on scenes, then choose to render them in higher settings when you're done?

If you can't handle Source games on high, you won't get in anyway.

Odd, I got into the CS:GO Beta; same type of application that SFM has. Oh well, hopefully in the final release you can set the settings to low, and render the final scene in high settings.
