unlocking guns has nothing to do with being a good player.

i can rack up kills in any random game using the default weapons.

no gun is "bad" or "good" they all kill just as well

Why do handicap AAA developers think level 1 noobs should stand a chance against level 100 guys or whatever. Balancing is the worst concept ever.

The guns you unlock at higher levels don't magically make you better. The rank is a number. I bet if the rank wasn't visible you wouldn't be whining.

You missed the point by a mile.

If he's talking about other games he should of said that. I'm going to assume it's about the game this topic is discussing because well, that's the game this topic is discussing.

True that M4A1 is the best gun in MW3

Wrong.
Some weapons do more damage or are more accurate.
It can make a difference.

the very first gun you unlock is probably the best. try playing the game before coming to conclusions

That's the entire point. It's a really simple concept, and COD and a few other games don't get it. Higher level should definitely equal better items.

from what i see, the first guns are usually all around type weapons (m4a1), later in the game you get guns that are more suited to a specific playstyle (m14/ak47) or possibly a better all around gun (acr).

this is usually what i see in cod. imo its a good system until you get a gun like the type 95 early in the game. this is the main problem, getting good guns to early. if the type 95 wasn't until lvl 65+, it would be more balanced out by the fact that you don't get it until late game.

i agree with this so much.
If you take a look at the stats on all the assault rifles, the CM901 overpowers everything with just a few adjustments.

0/10 nobody even gets it. Nothing changes, COD is designed to be perfectly balanced. Which is bad.
