I thought of something that could revolutionize BL.

What if We made:
1. Rocket that launches, and has modules that eject from it. (It would have like a height control setting, it flys up when you click space with the thrusters shooting fuel out of the bottom of it)
Something that looks like this:

2. Slates, that, when you get to a certain point in the sky, your in space. :D  (it wouldn't need to be a planet below it, it could be slate, and above that zero-g nothingness, people would be able to float, and vehicles as well, such as a rocket. :) )

3. THE MOON (Wait they already have that, XD)

4. Lunar Lander

5. Lunar Module

6. Lunar Rover

It was just an idea, dunno if its impossible, but for the space curious people, it could bring us closer too it.

Is it even possible to change the Gs of a certain point of a map?

I mean, like, in water (BL), you are technically in zero G, but going up...why not use that concept for space?

I'm pretty sure Torque doesn't support that sort of thing, at least not with the version blockland runs on. I dunno, I might be wrong.

Well, it could technically be the same as making  water bricks in the sky. Except you dont see blue, and you dont fly up to the surface of the water...because there is no surface.

It's pure nothingness.

There are zone bricks that have the exact same zero gravity thing that you are going for. I'm not sure if that's possible to make into a map though. I'm not experienced at mapmaking, so I'm probably just thinking too much.

Wait, I had another idea:

If I could make a slate map that had sky...that when it went upward you go into space...I could add zone bricks there! Btw, where do you get them?

Or...someone could script the spcae zone so that it could have the same effect like zone bricks. :)

Here was my initial plan:

BTW, is the possibility of the rocket plausable?

A rocket would be plausible but very hard to get right. There is a space shuttle vehicle with the flying carpet script copypasta'd. It could be like the box train except it's vertical. Hopefully someone is willing to do all of that tweaking to get it right.

Link to shuttle?

BTW, i was kind of imagining the shuttle would go straight up in normal g, and in zero g, it would move around.

Space is possible because you can just set a giant cube of water to have Norge same density as the player thus making him float.
Mission editor can do this and we had a zero gravity space map long ago

O_O

One sec, i think i just pooped myself, IM GETTING MISSION EDITOR.

But wait, could you have one part zero g, one part normal g?

Look at my design above.

BTW, I was going through some of the Mission Editor tutorials, how do you make one part zero-g?
