I listen to mostly classic rock, with only a couple of bands from each other genre that I'm willing to listen too.

This is a pretty bad topic considering the large amounts of genres left out and the lack of regard for the variety within the genres you provided.

I wanted to give 3 genres because I wanted to show my cousin and friend. I said Rock is my favorite, my cousin Max said that Dubstep is better, and my friend Johnnie said that Rap is the best.

I wouldn't really classify Dubstep as a genre, seeing as its just mixing up other songs of other genres. Its basically just a cover of the original song.

Rap is good if you actually look beyond stuff rappers like 50 and luda. Most popular rap artists are popular because people who don't even like rap listen to them because they aren't even rap. If you listent to ACTUAL rap and not stuffty pop/gold digger rap then you actually get good stuff.
