Rather than expanding them, you should have a tooltip-esque thing that displays to the right on hover (or left if the list is too close to the right of the screen) which displays the preview image, and if you have RTB installed/so does the server, also displays the player list

Please, no. Waiting for tool tips is annoying, and it would look ugly.

Well I've remade the gradient ui for the server-list and I think this looks much better:



I'll be adding LAN functionality and sorting when I feel less ill.

it's like mac, unity, and windows 7 combined into one package.

(that 3> down there in the lower-left would be another option if you dislike the dockbar on the right, it's just a collapsible window list.)
