1. Metroid Prime 1
Incredible game. Played it more times than I can possibly fathom in my childhood.

2. Starcraft 2
It's like chess for the 21st century. Incredible strategy game, one of my personal favorites.

3. Fallout 3.
Immaculately crafted world, environment, feeling, story, all around a pinnacle in terms of storytelling in video games.
