it wasn't even all that funny until I got to the bottom and imagined a normal everyday person looking up that wikipedia article and seeing that. I just lost it
if you wanna be technical, that's a wikia article, not a wikipedia article

Oh my god what the forget
That wiki article though indeed.

2012 so it's pretty rotten

well that's a shame. I was hoping to say it in various contexts and score points with internet people for seeming relevant

well idk, sometimes memes age well. obviously things like "ima firin mah lazer," which I can't type without crying, will never come back
but older, subtler ones can still earn you some sweet meme points every once in a while. like, "[repeating decimal number], repeating of course"

nyan cat however will always be the best meme

Most meme's on the Internet are based on current trend's like "get the subway for the spicy italian", those are type's of meme's that have no context whatsoever in a discussion and sometime's feel forcefully placed, but some meme's are timeless because they can actually be used in context and describe them satirically.

For example: I could use the hatered trailer to describe someone megalamonic 'characterized by fantasies of power, relevance, omnipotence, and by inflated self-esteem.' also known as being edgy on the internet.

"[repeating decimal number], repeating of course"

aged to perfection
