Author Topic: Tips to safely gain weight?  (Read 3055 times)

So, I've been pretty skinny since... Well... A long time.

I'm about 6" and I weigh 42kg. Yeah- really loving skinny.

For a while I've been trying to gain weight but to no avail. I've tried binge-eating, keeping a regular diet accompanied with exercise. All-in-all, I can't seem to gain weight.

While I'm glad I'm not fat, I'd still like to have some meat on my bones. What I'm looking for are some tips to safely gain weight.

Before someone posts binge eating (and they will anyway), that's actually not a very healthy way of gaining weight, and isn't a very good habit.

So... Pointers?

Try creatine. It might help you build some muscle

Well then I suggest you try going to doctor and ask him about it?

Mmm, probably... In the mean time, any pointers from BLF?

Have your calorie intake exceed your calorie expenditure. This is the only way.

Sit on a computer all day.

Work out lots
Eat only a few unhealthy, fatty foods a day

I vote doughnuts :D

Don't eat any bullstuff like the aforementioned donuts and unhealthy fatty foods.

Meat. Lots of loving meat. Chicken, steak, pork. Load up on that stuff and accompany it with a casual workout regiment.
