You begin to prepare for your quest. Soren gives you the Exclamation point he had and you use it to craft some sweet loot.
To start, you craft the HATE HAMMER. Made of pure hatred, this heavy hammer will do a significant amount of damage to anything in it's way. Do not get in this hammer's way. It will end you.
After that, you create the DISTRACTION DEFLECTOR. This nifty shield will block most projectiles and stop you from loosing track of what you are doing. The second part is the most beneficial because you have a very short attention span.
Finally, using those two SNOOZE ESSENCES (Now named!) you add a MODIFIER to the end of the Crossbow to enable it to have the ability to put enemies to sleep (but not all the time. About a 40% Chance). This should come in handy for incapacitating enemies.
This entire crafting session costs you...
3-1=2 Ingots for the Pole and 1 Profane Pound for the Hammer head.
7-1=6 Ingots for the Shield
2 Snooze Essences for the Modifier for your Cognitive Crossbow.
You started with 13, and you used 8, so now you have.... 5 Total! We will have to craft some ammo for the crossbow. Also don't forget about the 3 Magic Bombs we have!
You talk to Soren one last time before you enter into the unknown territory of Dr. Verton's brain.
: Anything I should know about Dr. Verton before I enter his brain?
: Well... hes quite a Left Sided thinker. Logic is his main concern with most things. Not very good at any sort of art that isn't the "Art of Being good at thinking logically"
: What about fears?
: Uhm... Well... I think he is afraid of spiders.
