is it bad I saw that coming from a mile away?
i think everyone saw the crossover from a mile away because it happened a mile back

: The Ethereal has a very bizarre flow of time. Sometimes it flows backwards, sometimes it flows forward, and sometimes it flows in circles. Two different regions could have completely different timespeeds.

You see, we're actually very clever and I totally did not stop updating my adventure because it was boring waiting for Menen to get there, it was all part of the Ethereal's time vortex thing.

Swholli never stopped updating. Its just that our perception of time has changed.

i actually didn't see it coming from a mile away because i still don't understand a large part of the story

What part?

What part?

pretty much everything that happened in the tower

pretty much everything that happened in the tower

That doesn't exactly narrow it down...

My screen is covered in puke.

get back to soren

You are now Soren, and you have led Squideey to the location where Tingles did his teleportation warp thing...

: This is the spot where I saw Tingles teleport from. He then appeared on the larger landmass next to a figure I couldn't make out.
: Menen still has my Scope...
: At this p0int I d0 n0t care anym0re. Tingles is n0t my pr0blem. Im sure we will see him again s00n. It is n0t c0mm0n f0r paths t0 cr0ss in this regi0n 0f the Ethereal, but when then they d0 it usually means s0mething very imp0rtant.
: Im sure Menen won't be happy to hear that Tingles made off with Jocelyn's Dream Staff.
: Her staff has n0 value here. 0nly a pers0n wh0 c0uld m0ve between the C0p0real Realm and the Ethereal w0uld see any value in it.

You and Squideey continue in the direction which Menen went until you hear a conversation in progress.

: -but even with special Anti-Etherealic weaponry, Grims and Reapers are still powerful creatures. If you see a Grim, run away. Reapers tend to be more civilized and intelligent. They won't attack unless you provoke them.
: Where am I supposed to run away to? We are on a floating island with no means of getting off it.
: When I was here, I had a jetpack. I don't know exactly where it came from. It just showed up one day on the airship with a note that read, "You might need this". No signature or anything. Even with my abilities I couldn't track it to it's source. Whenever I tried to, I got a completely uninhabited island in the Lush Tropics. Nothing was there but trees, bugs and over-sized lizards.
: The strangest part is that the jetpack was made of Meta-Materials, so a Psionic had to have made it.
: Its a costly recipe, and given your current cache of Meta-Materials, you wouldn't be able to make it...
: Ah, It seems we have visitors.

: Squideey, it has been a long time.
: Yes, it is g00d t0 see y0u, but 0ur reuni0n will have t0 wait. Tingles ran 0ff with the Dream Staff and we have t0 get Menen and S0ren 0ut 0f the Ethereal.
: Menen, I f0und a chest in the main 0bservati0n deck 0f the t0wer. I believe it is f0r you.
: Wait. Menen... you killed Uviso, right?
: Yeah im pretty sure. I think that light blast completely disintegrated him or something...
: Light blast?
: Yeah I don't really remember much, only small pieces of the whole thing. Apparently I used Uviso's staff with a small sun that I pulled out of my dreams and created a massive burst of light. Or something.
: I have access to your memories. Ill look into it later. Right now we need to find a way to get you guys to that larger island

Out of Squideey's Teapot emerges a VISION CHEST. Who knows what kind of treasures it holds! Only one way to find out. Should we open it now or later? Our physical inventory is full, so any prizes we get that aren't Meta-Materials cant be carried unless we abandon some things.

Open it later, unless that eye actually does something.  If it's just a decoration, carry it with you.  Maybe use a few ingots to make some straps to turn it into a backpack.
