I am very dissapointed.

It's very sad how people treat their pets/animals now-a-days. These animal's have lives you know. Sure, I agree, us humans can do a lot more things than the common animal, but it still doesn't give you the human right to call them 'stupid'. The animals may not be able to function with a working brain or something, but still, it's very inappropriate for you to call them stupid. Another thing, alot of us care alot about dogs and cats. We also care about the death of other people. That is why we have the police right? If we didn't care about people close to dieing, or bad health, why would we have all these disaster care agencies around? Dogs are best the same as humans, even if their personalities do not suit your needs.

they should for pretty much any god-damned animal. we count as animals, so technically, when you kill someone, you're killing an animal. that means you wouldn't recieve life imprisonment or death because you killed an animal

i treat my dog as a dog, i dont beat it with a whip or anything, but i dont let it sit at the dinner table and dress it up in a nice tweed jacket and hot shorts. they ARE stupid compared to a human, its not their fault that they are stupid but its still true.
