yeah, I know, I'm not complaining about it or anything
I was just pointing out that he used the wrong term
True, but it'd probably trick the average console player.

Xbox has 250GB of internal storage, but I doubt this will be HDD and more likely SSD, which I bet you would be able to upgrade.
Xbox only has 4GB of internal storage. The model you bought probably came with a removable hard drive.

So basically a console consisting of casualized f2p p2w FPS games?  No thank you.

Xbox 360 Elite 250GB is what I (Xilver bought it) have. Not sure of the RAM

Yes it is removable, but it is removable like a HDD from a computer is "removable"

I have mixed feelings for this.

The hardware is actually pretty good for $99. Of course you get what you pay for, it won't be able to run any real games. Still, it will probably be successful because the casual gaming market is growing.

no
you have to unscrew and open a computer to get out its hard drive
for an xbox, you just gotta take the cover off and slide the hard drive out

$4,317,074 pledged of $900,000 goal
holy richards people really want this

looks like they're gonna get $4,200,000 in extra cash to spend on w/e they want

if you make a kickstarted, pledge 30,000 bucks, and don't reach that, do you not get the money?

just wondering.

No, if people pledge $9.50 on a $300 goal, you still get $9.50

It really helps if you read the whole page for once.

We borrowed the free-to-play model from games like League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Triple Town, and many others.

If you've played any of these games, they're successful in making money, are free, and none of them are pay to win.

No, it's all or nothing. That way people don't have to spend money on something that will never happen.

Every project creator sets their project's funding goal and deadline. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal all backers' credit cards are charged when time expires. If the project falls short no one is charged.

Free to play games to try all the time? Wait, I see Minecraft. So much for that...

It's a nice idea, but like the crazy woman said, they've got to beat all the other consoles. Somehow I don't think that'll happen, especially as most of the games they are making available are either already f2p or will be demos or rubbish cheaper versions of them.

I'll probably buy one when it comes out, if it has games that I enjoy on it that are ports from the other systems.
