Author Topic: V21- Built In Anti Aliasing  (Read 1769 times)

V21 is going to make the game look a lot better. It'd look even nicer if those shadows and shaders are combine with built in aliasing features, that make the graphics look smoother. I hate having to force it in my card options, should definately be built in.

I've always liked this idea. The jagged lines on the sides of cubes when looking at them on an angle have always irked me.

Would be awesome if AA was built in.

Maybe if there was support in the game those red lines on GUI wouldn't be a problem?

It's most likely already possible (and probably easy) to add native AA to Blockland's options. Just have to give B&K a little time to work on the next major update.

I would like AA, even though I'm probably not going to be able to run blockland with that alongside shadows and shaders.
Nonetheless, I like the idea of blockland with AA.

Would anyone happen to know if this is possible? I know that this game runs off the tribes 2 engine so search it up, maybe?

Anybody with a modern graphics card can force AA in the control panel for it anyway.

Yeah and it's a huge pain in the ass. It should be a built in feature.

I can't because AMD Catalyst doesn't support Toshiba computers.

It literally takes 10 seconds on nVidia and AMD cards.

read above post pls

but why shouldn't it be a feature within the game?  A majority of users probably don't want to edit their graphics card settings just to get AA.

This.

Most games today have settings for whether you want AA or not and how strong it should be

I've gotten used to Bockland's sharp edges (which made cutouts easier as well), but i think it'd be neat if Blockland could have settings for AA

I'm Commander ShepardMasterlegodude, and i support this idea

What Red Lines?
